No holiday can start badly when you are aboard the train from Geneva, as cityscapes give way to a winter wonderland of incredible snow-clad landscapes. Standards have been set before even arriving in Zermatt and nothing can beat the thrill of the first time you catch a glimpse of your playground for the week. 

Fast forward a few snowy minutes, only a short stroll from the heart of Zermatt and you will be greeted by a stunning building occupying prime position. With ski boots deposited in the large ground floor boot room, you are feeling rather smug knowing that tomorrow you are only 500m from the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. With direct access to the pristine slopes, what more could you ask for? A stay at Christiana Apartment 7 was designed to evoke excitement.

Sleeping twelve people across the six beautiful bedrooms, it won’t take long for Christiana Apartment 7 to win your affections. Steal yourself away from the stunning views and admire the scenery within. Each bedroom has been meticulously finished to offer complete rest and rejuvenation, whether that be from sinking into your cloud of a bed or from taking it all in from your own terrace. With one bedroom complete with private bathroom and two with private shower rooms and all with flat screen TVs, we know that trying to choose which bedroom to call yours won’t be the easiest.

Unpacking your winter ski wardrobe can wait until tomorrow. For now you have a pre-ski massage booked in at the Christiana Residence in-house treatment room, to ease those legs into what is to come tomorrow. We understand that the thrill of anticipating such a week requires the batteries to be fully recharged, what would you have done without your SkiBoutique PA? Whilst you receive some much needed TLC, your husband and a piste map can be found in the light and spacious living room. With the wood burning stove crackling contentedly and dusk falling outside, you wish evenings like this could last forever.
