The Peak is a tall and handsome structure that dominates the centre of the very tranquil resort of Sainte Foy, without doubt, one of two leading luxury chalets in resort. The Peak is a beautiful and expansive luxury chalet which was custom built to cater for families or larger groups.
The four story property was conceived with the comfort and convenience of skiers as of vital importance. Ski-in, ski-out is the first of many benefits that this grand and comfortably luxurious chalet affords. A snowballs throw away from the chairlift and a private access path to the nursery slopes means youʼll waste no time at all accessing the slopes.
The chalet offers dramatic views across the valley from the large balconies located on every level. A welcoming hot-tub on one of the balconies that extrudes from the main living space is a fabulous place to relax after an exhilarating day on the slopes, the views from here are spectacular and what could be better than luxuriating, glass of champagne in hand, with the starry night sky for a canopy, as you gaze in awe at the surrounding splendour.
The Peak is endowed with a vast open plan living area with the obligatory open log fire. In the evenings, with the flickering candles and subdued lighting, a wonderfully warm and welcoming ambience is created. The interior finish is of a very high standard and betrays the taste and style of the owners and a renown local designer. No effort has been spared to create the perfect Alpine retreat for a luxury ski holiday.
The Peak sleeps sixteen in luxurious comfort in eight en suite bedrooms. Each suite contains a double sofa bed so effectively the chalet could sleep twenty four, making it an ideal chalet for extended families or corporate groups.
If you are looking for luxurious pampering, The Peak boasts a fabulous wellness area comprising of a sauna, steam room and spa treatment room, not forgetting the hot tub located on the balcony. The chalet also has a dedicated office space with iMac, scanner, printer and Wi-Fi internet. The Peak offers the choice of half-board accommodation, on a “room by room” basis or exclusive occupancy.
For families with young ones there is the Snow Cub Crèche that is affiliated with the chalet located as good as next door. No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.
