It isn’t just your little ones counting down the days until they can finally escape school for a few weeks. You are craving a break from the daily mundane and we promise there is a reward for you at the end of yet another school run. Like many in the playground, Les Trois Vallées are calling. However, you aren’t one for following the crowd.
For you everything will change when you get to Moûtiers. You may have bumped into the Evans tribe and the McLinley clan at Geneva but you have a superior smile on your face. Just like us, Meribel and Courchevel will always have your heart. However, last years’ sojourn out of Meribel’s 150kms of slopes and a lunch date with La Ferme de la Choumette, had you smitten with the charm of St Martin de Belleville.
You like to be different. You’re a trendsetter. You don’t follow the crowds. Instead, you are destined for the recently completed, rather magnificently finished Chalet Aralia. Located in Villarabout, a mere two-minute chauffeured drive from the pistes, this is a chalet that has your name all over it. We know you’ll be smitten with its contemporary Alpine style that we know you have come to love from your foray into our luxurious chalet collection. However, we also know that every perfect luxury chalet has to leave you feeling nourished and spoilt. Chalet Aralia may boast of a rejuvenating neutral palette but with indulgent fabrics, the finest bed linen and sumptuous bathrobes, this is your perfect balance of Alpine snug.
Others in the playground may have given you that look. However, we know and you most importantly know, that you will not be scrimping on luxury in St Martin de Belleville. Just like that secret surf spot you found in Indonesia last year, we reckon you might want to keep the hidden gem that is Chalet Aralia as your cherished secret. Complete with a champagne arrival, complimentary bar, a daily on demand chauffeur service, Sonos throughout and a mouth-watering five course dinner on six evenings, you will be truly looked after.
After you have caught your breath from the commanding views from the sitting room’s double height windows, it will be the large corner sofa that catches your eye. You know just where you will be sinking into after a great day on the pistes. With the glass fronted fireplace contentedly crackling and an array of afternoon tea delights, you can think of nowhere better to catch up with the children’s slope side antics each day.
With boundless energy still remaining for building Mr Snowman’s entire family, it is time for some serious you-time. After all, we think you rather deserve it. Whilst there are a few Alpine rays still left in the day, it is time to sink into Chalet Aralia’s outdoor hot tub. Why not take a glass of sparkling wine with you and truly unwind? If you would prefer, we can hear the sauna calling.
Comfortably sleeping eight adults in four beautifully appointed bedrooms, there is space for everyone. Even those in your family who don’t wish to be disturbed by Henry’s 5am morning snow forecast wake up call. With the fourth bedroom adjoining the full-sized bunkroom, this is the perfect suite to ensure that all the odd socks and pieces of Lego remain contained. You do commend your chalet staff for religiously reuniting strewn garments and missing characters each and every day.
Between Aralia’s dedicated team and vibes of relaxed, calming sophistication exuding from the chalet, we promise that those end of term frayed nerves won’t remain so for very long at all.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful. On the chef's day off there are still a great selection of fruit, cereals, yoghurts and pastries but no cooked option.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is accompanied by carefully selected wines and is served on six nights of your stay.
The chalet provides a complimentary bar of beer, wines, sparkling wine, spirits and mixers.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
