Newly renovated, three hundred year old farmhouse in Chamonix seeks ten outdoor craving, spa loving, view-seeking fun individuals. This is a chalet with a big heart and a lot of love to give.
Nestled into the forested exclusivity of Les Bois, this lovingly restored farmhouse is the perfect place to call home after a hard day on the slopes. Chalet Uno would be delighted to offer you a movie in the home cinema, complete with authentic cinema seats or a glass of something bubbly in the hot tub. If you would prefer to sink into one of the sumptuous sofas with one of the chef’s homemade cakes and a cup of tea, Uno will pull the footstool up for you.
This is one of those chalets where you can kick off your shoes and you don’t need to feel guilty about not dressing up for supper. Of course, if you would like to dress up in your finest, your evening four-course dinners sound like the perfect excuse. Chalet Uno wants you to feel completely at ease this week. This is your home from home. Well, maybe with a few extra luxuries dotted around that you have naturally come to expect from a SkiBoutique chalet.
It’s time to drag yourself out of your freestanding roll top bath. If you want to make an exaggerated sigh at how tough life is, then we’ll allow you. There’s a pile of extra fluffy towels for you to stumble out of your en-suite bathroom in. Perhaps we can tempt you upstairs with a pre dinner aperitif around the fire?

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? On the chef's day-off you will be served a continental breakfast of wonderful French bread and pastries. So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet to find afternoon tea laid out ready for you. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. You will enjoy carefully selected house wines with dinner which the chef has paired to his dishes although you can choose to upgrade the wines from the chalet's a la carte list. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is served on six nights, leaving you one night free to enjoy the local restaurants.
The chalet provides a stocked bar with a range of spirits, beer and soft drinks. Champagne is served with canapés on your arrival night.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
