I really like this chalet – the design is classic but simple, it has a wonderful range of facilities and is in a great location.
The chalet is built in typical Savoyard style with a simplicity that is often lacking in the more chocolate box variety. Interiors are equally striking but simply done, using local materials, solid craftsmanship and neutral colours. The quality of the design is evident in every room – this is calm, comfortable place to stay. The main room has floor to ceiling windows allowing you to make the most of the awe-inspiring scenery of the Chamonix Valley and the views of Mont Blanc from the south-facing balcony are stunning.
But this is no simple ski cabin – from the inviting hot tub to the relaxing sauna this is a chalet for enjoying. Add to that the home cinema room with huge screen, satellite TV, CD/DVD Player, multimedia movie system and Nintendo Wii and you know you’ve found the chalet with something for everyone.
The charming village of Argentière is a short walk (about 10-15 minutes) via a maintained snow track or along the path next to the main road. The village has a great range of bars and restaurants, supermarket, newsagent, post office, pharmacy and many other speciality shops. The chalet is adjacent to the nursery slope of les Chosalets so perfect for families or mixed ability groups but it is still only 800 metres from the world class skiing of Les Grand Montets.
Add to that, it's run by a great local team who live and breath Chamonix so you have all the expert advice about what to do and where to ski at your fingertips. Plus great chefs – sounds like the perfect recipe for a great holiday.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is accompanied by specially selected house wine and is served on 5 nights of your stay.
The chalet provides a selection of house wines, soft drinks & mixers. There is an extensive list of wines and Champagne should you wish to upgrade your selection (payable locally).
Children & dietary requirements
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
