The most photographed chalet in St Anton; ‘Sweet Little Home’ is a unique and historic Alpine chalet that has undergone complete modernisation, successfully blending sought after contemporary updates with sympathetic attention to detail, maintaining the authentic feel of the stunning classic architecture, inside and out.
Brilliantly located, just 4-5 mins to the lifts and slopes and 30 seconds to the main street, this practical, cool, memorable and unique chalet blends history with modernity. Part chalet, part townhouse, all obsessive detailing. The private spa is divine making this a truly memorable stay in Europe’s most sought after ski destination
Dating back to 1911 the house has undergone a few dramatic changes since. With an eye catching splash of colour and decadence on the outside, you are treated to an understated elegance inside. Beautiful interiors, stand our features and unique touches help make this chalet one of the simplest, yet most desirable after properties in the whole resort.
Tradition has been maintained with lots of wood and hidden stone and it has been effortlessly brought into the luxury market with designer furniture, bespoke bathrooms and no luxury chalet is complete without a private, outdoor spa!
The five ensuite double rooms allow for relaxation and a sound nights sleep, all equipped with a walk in wardrobe and wet room showers.
The two master suites on the top floor enjoy elegant standalone bath tubs as well as the walk in shower for pure relaxation. These suites are joined by the chalets “2nd lounge”, allowing some breakaway space for movie nights, children’s story time or simply to sit back and unwind in peace and quiet.
The main lounge is well designed eclectic mix of comfy sofas, bespoke armchairs, and an open fire place to keep you glowing along with furs and throws to snuggle up with.
The dining room with its long wooden, hand built dining table and stylish chairs where you can enjoy the delights of our breakfast buffet and the culinary treats produced by our chefs in the evenings.
Nothing is “normal” in this property and even the beautifully designed kitchen becomes a feature with a cosy “stuberl” in the corner, where you can enjoy a glass of wine with the chef while watching them prepare your canapés….
For the ultimate in relaxation, you take but a few steps out of the back door, along the terrace and indulge yourself in the “outdoor” sauna and hot tub. Nominee for Austria's Best Ski Chalet 2018
In Stuben, Austria, the childhood home of the ‘father of modern skiing’ has been turned into a sleek private chalet. Inside, there is the vintage wood panelling, roaring fire and hunting trophies you would expect, but also touches of contemporary design — beautiful glassware from Stillsegler, lighting from Gubi and Lampe Gras — and the work of numerous artists. Two portraits by Mary Waters dominate the lounge, and a light installation by Gerold Tagwerker hangs in the stairwell. There’s a small spa area downstairs, with sauna and hot tub.
House Hannes Schneider is the former alpine townhouse home of ski pioneer Hannes Schneider, which has been converted in a luxury rental chalet Spread over four floors and sleeping up to 20, the chalet has a cinema, games room and spa area, as well as a large dining room, kitchen and seven bedrooms, each with dressing rooms and en-suite bathrooms.
House Hannes Schneider has ski-in ski-out access via the Albona ski area and is a minute’s walk from the Albona ski lift.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.
The chalet serves Champagne with canapés, a selection of wines with dinner and provides an open bar of beer, wines, spirits and mixers.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
