At last – you’re here, Chalet 53. You’ve been looking forward to this holiday for so long and now you’ve arrived in the legend that is St Anton. And the chalet could not be better positioned to take advantage of both the amazing skiing and the infamous après.
You’re feeling very relaxed – it’s only 1½ hours from Innsbruck airport – the easiest ski transfer ever and St Anton is a really pretty town with its painted houses and pedestrianised main streets. This really is an attractive resort with a traditional feel – even the staff in shops seem to be wearing dirndls!Chalet 53 is everything you’d hope for from the photos – spacious and modern but using lots of local stone and wood to give it an alpine twist. The bedrooms are large with generous bathrooms and the beds look super-comfy –maybe just a little snooze before dinner? The chalet is really well positioned – just a short walk to the Fang chairlift and a stone’s throw from the bustling centre with its delightful shops, bars and restaurants. Everything is so handy from ski hire to the shop with that lovely ski jacket that would suit you perfectly ….
But there are important decisions to be made – where should you start après tomorrow? The Krazy Kangurhu or the Mooserwirt? (or both!) And then what day should you have lunch at the Hospiz Alm in St Christoph? So much choice - will one week be enough?
But one decision everyone agrees that you got right is the perfect choice of chalet - so perhaps a little glass or two of something before dinner with those delicious canapés to celebrate and get the holiday started.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is accompanied by carefully selected wines and is served on 6 nights of your stay.
The chalet provides an open bar of local bubbles, beer, wines, house spirits and mixers.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
