Über denotes something outstanding and Chalet Überhaus certainly knows how to live up to its namesake. When the wine cellar has its own chandelier, an entire floor is designated to the gratification of entertaining and you can ski into your hot tub, you know you have found a supreme example of luxury.
When we say you can ski into your hot tub, you might have to take that with a little pinch of over enthusiastic salt. Technically you can. Whether you wish to or not is another matter. After all, you wouldn’t wish to detract the attention away from the stand out hot tub. Going above and beyond the call of latest luxury, Chalet Überhaus’ sunken outdoor hot tub was designed to stir envy. In the gym below, nothing will motivate your workout quite like looking up through the glass-bottomed hot tub and seeing your friends frolicking with champagne.
Laying frivolity aside with your salopettes, hopefully we’ve demonstrated how Chalet Überhaus has taken the meaning of ski-in ski-out to another supreme level. Located a short stroll from Oberlech, a few minutes’ chauffeured drive from Lech and directly above the Schlosskopf lift, you’re certainly the king of the slopes.
This may be a business trip but it seems only fair that your wife gets to enjoy one of the finest chalet experiences in the Alps as well. You have arranged for a masseuse to visit the chalet before afternoon tea, to ease away the stresses and strain of her everyday. Indulge in that extra glass of wine at lunch, knowing that Henny can ski straight to the massage table. Pure indulgence.
With Henny lost to Chalet Überhaus’ luxurious private spa and wellness suite, you are dutifully keeping the noisy rabble away from the chalet. You have already asked your butler to have the champagne set in the snow and on return, the chaise lounges are perfectly angled towards the afternoon sun, with faux fur throws draped over to keep the chill at bay. It is these little surprises that ensure this is your most memorable week of the year.
Chalet Überhaus is the place to be seen to be socialising and entertaining. For you and your colleagues, we ensure that only the highest trained professionals are on hand to look after you. As the champagne flows, stories of the day become suitably exaggerated and your search for the perfect chalet is applauded. You won’t even notice the seamless replacement of magnums from the ground floor wine cave.
With the sun setting, it is time to retire inside where traditional local architecture meets contemporary design. Surrounded by decadent fabrics and luxe features, your senses are immersed into an outstanding world of luxury. You have found true hedonistic peace.
Your friends in high places have excelled at finding you a chalet that combines the perfect work and life balance. Perhaps they could instil that at home for you as well? Sleeping ten adults and four children over four indulgent floors, this is the epitome of perfection. On the ground floor are the two family suites. Both complete with a double bedroom, one suite has a bunk area for one child whilst the other suite has ample bunk space for four children. For this trip that is plenty of space for Henry, Snowy, Annabel and her yet to be named Austrian bear.
Moving up to the top floor you will find the master suite. George and Alana’s retreat for the week. After all, they don’t want to be disturbed by Henry’s eager 5am snow checks. Up in the lofty decadent heights, welcome the mountains in through your balcony door to join you for a glass of champagne in your living room. Alana is unwinding in the lavish freestanding roll-top bath after another frenzied day of fine pistes and vintages. As expected, George’s tux had to fight Alana’s dresses and slope-side fashion for a space in the dressing room.
With the children lost into the splendour of the cinema room, it won’t be long before Chalet Überhaus hosts your annual gala dinner. After all, last year’s accounts show you have a lot to celebrate. Henny and your SkiBoutique PA diligently spent hours with Chalet Überhaus’ professional chef planning tonight’s seven course banquet around slightly simpler suppers and Henry’s love of anything if accompanied by mash potato.
On the first floor, the scene is being set for the night of all nights. It is only in such an outstanding chalet that an entire floor is dedicated to the decadence of entertaining. With a separate kitchen, a dining table capable of seating 16, vast sofas with abundant feathery cushioned peaks and a state of the art roaring fire, the drinks are flowing in the bar and laughter resounds around the snooker table. The scene and ambience are set for one utterly indulgent glamorous night.
You have just discovered the über in Chalet Überhaus.

“Chalet Uberhaus features a cinema, spa and hot tub, alongside a 16-person dining table and generous wine cellar for those who like to entertain big groups.”
“The view from the hot tub over to Lech's icy, snow-capped mountains will win you over in a flash. If that doesn't (there is something wrong with you), then Chalet überHaus's boozing, eating and lazing around space will. It's also on the edge of the piste with ski-in and ski-out access.”
“Europe’s most spectacular luxury chalets - Contemporary ski luxury close to the centre of Lech with ski-in/ski-out access. Breath taking views from the outdoor plunge pool.”
Nominee for World's Best Ski Chalet 2015
"Slotted into the manicured ski slopes of Oberlech, a plush enclave above the European aristocracy's beloved resort of Lech, Uberhaus is suitable "uber". More mini-hotel than chalet, it has ski-in/ski-out access, uninterrupted mountain views, three large suites, two en-suite double bedrooms and a dreamy children's bunkroom. On top of that comes an impressive spa, a gym, super-slick private cinema, snooker room, bar and library."
"Best for Partying - This spacious chalet is the perfect place to get the party started with the entire first floor dedicated to the living and dining area. Ski straight into your front door and hold your own après ski bash with the use of your very own wine cave, bar and Sonos music system. At the end of the night why not all take a midnight dip in your large Jacuzzi right by the slopes."

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.
The chalet provides an open bar of beer, wines, spirits and mixers.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
