Chalet Pierre Avoi is a stylish and traditional alpine chalet with a contemporary twist. Located in the beautiful, secluded Plan-Praz area the property enjoys a tranquil position and is a glorious mountain retreat. The stand alone chalet is laid out over 3 floors and sleeps 12 guests in six bedrooms with a further bedroom on request. All rooms have en-suite facilities or separate bathrooms and flat screen televisions.
The interior has been beautifully conceived, with modern art works adorning the natural mineral walls and elegant designer furniture throughout. Chalet Pierre Avoi boasts a spectacular heart in the form of a double height living area, complete with stone fireplace and floor to ceiling windows, which open up to a huge south and south-west facing decked terrace.
Aside from the impressive living space Pierre Avoi holds many five star features. Some guests may find the sanctuary of the outdoor hot tub the perfect place to relax after a long day on the slopes, taking in the jaw-dropping views of Combins and the Mont Blanc massif, whilst others may opt for a sauna or massage in the chalet's treatment room. There is also a second spacious sitting room downstairs, perfect for the little ones with its large screen, Wii and selection of games and toys.
Whilst sitting back on the extensive terrace enjoying uninterrupted views of snowy fields and the far mountain ranges across the valley, you could be forgiven for thinking you were miles away from the rest of civilisation. The bustling resort centre and the main lift stations of Medran and Savoleyres are a mere five-minute chauffeured drive away.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is accompanied by selected house wines and is served on six evenings of your stay.
The chalet provides a selection of beers, wines, champagne, spirits and mixers. The house champagnes are Perrier Jouet Grand Brut and G.H.Mumm Cordon Rouge. There is a wine list available if you would like to upgrade your wine or champagne (payable in-resort).
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
