Despite its name, 'little bear', this chalet is large in character, size and big on spectacular views. It's the ideal place to come together with a large group (up to 11) of your nearest and dearest to spend quality time together in the mountains.
Positioned high within the exclusive Savoleyres area of Verbier, Petit Ours offers breath-taking views of the snow covered mountains and the resort of Verbier below. In the evenings, your party can mingle on the terrace over a bottle of bubbly and watch the twinkling lights of the slopes and village below. Styled in a traditional manner with homely interior, this chalet offers everything you could wish for on a relaxing skiing holiday.
Enter this warm and inviting living chalet through the spacious ski room, complete with heated boot warmers and plenty of storage space for skis. Fancy a game of ping-pong? You'll also find a fun table tennis table in here, to practice your skills. Off the ski room, you also have your own laundry room to take care of any muddy messes. As you ascend to the first floor, you are welcomed by the TV room, complete with open fire for cosying around, and plenty of comfortable seating to sink into after a tiring day on the slopes. It's the ideal place to relax and watch a movie after dinner, or if you fancy spending the day chilling indoors while the snow falls outside.
On the second floor, you'll find the stunning living and dining area, where double height vaulted ceilings and large windows flood the room the bright light from outside, while also offering up stunning views of the snow-capped mountain ranges. Focused around a gorgeous natural stone fireplace, traditional stone and panelled antique wood is styled alongside elegant modern furnishings, where your entire party can share good times and a glass of wine together as the sun goes down. Wrap up and step outside through the sliding doors onto the large balcony – the perfect place to watch the stars come out while enjoying pre-dinner canapés and drinks, all prepared by your own catering team and personal chef. Off of this living area is the dining space, which seats up to 10 people.
After a long day, get your beauty sleep in one of the many en-suite bedrooms complete with large free-standing sinks, rainfall showers and designer beauty products. On the top floor of the chalet is the master suite. Awaken in the morning and feel on top of the world as you take in the incredible views from your private balcony. There's also a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower. You'll also find two more sumptuous double bedrooms, both with queen size beds and en-suite shower rooms, decorated with their own individual colour schemes and chalet charm.
One of the highlights of Petit Ours is the hot tub, which sits pride of place on the large outdoor balcony. This is a place you won't ever want to leave, as you sit in the bubbly waters and take in panoramic views of the Grand and Petit Combin and Mount Blanc Massif. Need an extra dose of R&R? You'll find it in the private Hammam and spa shower. We've also thrown in a dedicated driver, too, who can whisk you down to the resort centre or ski lifts whenever you like!

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? Full breakfast is served every morning. So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is served on 5 nights.
The chalet provides beer, house wines, a drinks tray of 3 bottles of house spirits and mixers. Champagne is served with canapés on 5 nights of your stay.
Children & dietary requirements
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children (on 6 nights). You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes.
