The Bella Coola Estate is the combined properties of Chalet Le ‘Ti and Chalet Bella Coola, offering exceptional accommodation for a larger group or several families. This is an incredible combination - how many ski chalets have a grand staircase? How many ski chalets contain a treasure trove of rare antiques and artifacts? Chalet Bella Coola breaks the mould with its elegant interiors with an Eastern twist whereas Chalet Le ‘Ti is more traditionally Alpine in style. The combination offers the perfect blend of beautiful antique furniture and the elegant decor combine to provide a sophisticated ambience that adds up to result in a super-de-luxe holiday experience.
Having two chalets allows everyone plenty of space and there can be a sitting room for grown-ups and a slightly noisier one for youngsters at the other property, which is just across the lawn.
In Bella Coola the open plan living area situated on the first floor is a delight. The huge windows allow the light to flood in and the views afforded are wonderful and inspiring. The roaring log fire in the large hearth is a feature you will appreciate. In the evening as you gaze into the flames and sip champagne you will feel at complete ease in the sumptuous sofas as you await the culinary delights that the experienced chef is passionately preparing.
The 9 bedrooms, all en suite, are luxuriously comfortable and surprising in their choice of decor and furnishings. Youʼll be fighting over the master bedroom suite on the top floor of Bella Coola and who takes the beautiful wood-clad bedrooms of the chocolate-box-perfect alpine chalet of Le ’Ti.
With itʼs private terrace and garden with breathtaking views of spectacular mountain scenery. The chalet is completely wired for sound and vision throughout with networked Crestron entertainment system, TVʼs in bedroom and a central DVD and music server.
Through exotically beautiful antique Indian gates lies an elegantly refined spa complex, which guests can access by special arrangement. The indoor pool comes complete with massage jets and panoramic mountain views in all directions. There is also a large hamman and spacious bar area and a hot tub with stunning views in the private garden.

“The lavish 10-person Bella Coola, set in a private garden in Verbier, achieves an intriguing blend of traditional Swiss and more exotic design elements. In addition to cosy wood-panelled bedrooms, a vaulted wine cellar and giant fossilised elk antlers, you’ll also find delicately carved teak four-poster beds, vibrant Kashmiri saris and Moroccan lanterns. The spa area is spectacular: the large pool affords mountain views through glass doors, which open on to the garden, and there’s a hammam and bar.”
“Bella Coola combines a beautiful old Swiss wood exterior with contemporary interior design and four Anglo-Indian-style bedrooms with four-poster beds, flowing curtains and bright throws. The reception room is centred around a raised fireplace with built-in seating for cold winter evenings, and the chalet is wired with a fully-integrated entertainment system.”
Listed by Peter Hardy at The Telegraph as one of The Best Alpine Chalets
“State of the Art: The beautiful old wooden exterior is traditionally Swiss, but deceptively Chalet Bella Coola is of the most ultra-modern chalets in design and full of surprises. Through giant, antique Indian gates lies a spectacular spa area: large tiled steam room with a fibre optic ceiling constellation and an indoor pool with its own underwater sound system and massage jets to soothe those aching muscles”
If you're looking for something super-cosy and insanely luxurious - with important things like an enormous swimming pool that looks directly out onto your own snowy (or sunny, if you're here in summer) gardens, a twinkly hammam, a champagne bar, a plentifully stocked wine cellar and the obligatory outdoor hot tub - head to the Bella Coola estate. There are nine bedrooms, numerous balconies, an entertainment room and a huge open-plan living room/kitchen area with vast sofas for tired ski legs, open fires and a swanky ibex skull with glinting pink-crystal eyes. The owners have exotic tastes, and there are Moroccan touches throughout the chalet, from elephant-head door handles to metal lampshades, as well as the extraordinary carved wooden entrance to the spa zone, which looks like something from a Balinese temple. The bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms and lovely starchy white beds with fur throws. Bella Coola's little sister next door is the Chalet Le Ti - neat little wooden rooms to tuck yourself up in, with state-of-the-art speaker systems and TVs, should you want some time out from all the snow. The Michelin-starred chefs are able to whip up anything you want, there's the hosting team, drivers and complimentary private ski instructors. Whatever you want - from children's treasure hunts to bagpipes on Burns Night - the Haute Montagne ski team, who run Bella Coola, will fix it for you.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.
The chalet provides an open bar of beer, wines, spirits and mixers.
