Timbers, stone work, deep grey slate and a rich mixture of furs and textures all combine in Chalet Annelies to create an aesthetic that oozes alpine luxury at its finest. The perfect hybrid of traditional and contemporary, the exceptional Annelies was recently completed in the summer of 2012 is the perfect family retreat.
The chalet has been conceived over 3 floors that can comfortably sleep a total of 10 people in 4 delicious bedrooms. Location is very important when organising a family ski holiday and Annelies will tick all the boxes. The chalet is just a short stroll from the Savoleyres lift station and the nursery slopes, perfect for getting the kiddies skiing quickly and hassle free. However, it must be noted that to ski Verbier in its entirety you will need to head to the main Medran lift station, your dedicated chauffeur will be on hand from 8.30am to 1.30am each day to whisk you back and forth at your leisure and convenience.
The lower floor might be at the bottom of the chalet but it certainly does not rank that way. The entire floor champions luxury and houses the entertainment area with cinema room, private bar and beautiful spa with rock bath, sauna and hammam.
The middle floor houses the bulk of the sleeping quarters with 3 bedrooms that all boast access to the surrounding terraces or balconies, affording a beautiful outlook. Adults will delight in the master bedroom which features a beautiful roll top bath and separate shower, whilst the children will love the cosy bunk room which sleeps 4 in two sets of hand crafted bunk beds with en-suite bath and shower room. There is also a third bedroom on this floor which features a double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
The top floor is undoubtedly the heart of the property. Playing host to the glorious open plan living and dining area, it's elevation serving up jaw dropping mountain vistas. The large traditional fireplace is the ideal place to relax after an exhilarating day on the piste. The living area has access to the wrap around balconies which feature a lovely outside dining area.

Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
