Un. Deux. Trois. That’s one chalet. Two minutes from the Savoleyres lift. Three minutes from the Médran lift.
That sounds like a pretty good base to start planning your perfect luxury ski holiday. How about we tell you that it sleeps 11 guests over four floors? So, gather friends, family, whoever you can persuade to join you (I don’t think it’ll be a challenge) and let’s make this the most enviable ski holiday yet.
With first day vigour, jump into your awaiting vehicle, dedicated to you throughout the week, with feet toasty and warm from the heated boot warmers. You won’t be defeated by the cold of January. Peter drives you the three little minutes to the Médran gondola, barely time to put your gloves on! Before you know it, your skis are out of the boot and you’re ready to go. Just incase that early morning air nips at your fingers, why not call in at the Ice Cube for a quick cup of coffee? After all, it’s all part of today’s grand plan as you survey your snowy territory from the café’s sensational terrace.
Wow what a day. The lungs are filled with fresh mountain air, the head is cleared of emails and diary chores. You’ve dodged the trees of Vallon d’Arby with accurate precision and the legs are telling you you’ve conquered Mont Gelé. Once again, defeat won’t be yours. You stand smugly amongst the other weary skiers, knowing that Peter is on his way to take your aching limbs straight back home.
You deserve to feel pleased with yourself. You’re the first one home. Before you dance under the rain shower and sink into the sauna, you have another first to conquer. That untouched afternoon tea that is gently calling your name… you deserve that first slice. Sssh we won’t tell anyone if you come back for seconds.
You sink into the ample seating, with the fire crackling next to you. The king of your elevated living room with the views to the Petit Combin your kingdom… Quick. Don’t get distracted by the views. The frosting on that decadent slice of millionaire’s shortbread is melting.
You won’t be needing that small desk in the master bedroom this week. Work can wait for now. These are your favourite days of the year and nothing is going to get in the way of that.
Legs rested, sweet tooth appeased. Thoughts turn to how to while away the remainder of the day.
Après is calling. Must dash.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? Full breakfast is served every morning. So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is served on 5 nights.
The chalet provides beer, house wines, a drinks tray of 3 bottles of house spirits and mixers. Champagne is served with canapés on 5 nights of your stay.

The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children (on 6 nights).
