Located minutes from the cosmopolitan glitz of St Moritz, Chalet Chesetta is a haven of tranquility, magnificence and modern day luxury. A truly stunning property, all 500 square meters of it. This chalet is huge, grand in design and grand in scale. Chalet Chesetta offers guests a tailored and distinguished service and comprises 7 bedrooms and bathrooms with every amenity one could imagine. With all conceivable mod-cons including controllable under-floor heating, wireless broadband, home cinema, steam room, sauna and gym, the chalet’s interior is modern yet sumptuous with great attention to detail.
We could give you a quote from our stay but you might think we are just waxing lyrical. The financial Times were recent guests and we think their summation is perfect: “Staying at Chesetta is not like a break in a five-star hotel, it’s like staying with wealthy relatives who can’t do enough to make you happy.
”Chesetta comprises effectively two separate houses (2 + 5 bedrooms) interconnected at the lower ground floor, making the chalet an ideal retreat for an extended family or group of friends, travelling together but wishing for some individual privacy. In terms of configuration there is oceans of room to relax or entertain. Both living rooms are stunning, generous and have large wood burning open fireplace.
The live-in kitchen seats 12 and the dining room up to 16. The chalet boasts a home cinema with BOSE® surround sound and an extensive library of films and games. A gym is equipped with the latest equipment and a steamroom/sauna to relax. Chesetta offers every conceivable mod-con including individually controllable under-floor heating, wireless broadband, a PC, printer and satellite TV.
The service is everything you would expect from a chalet of this class. A superb in-house team awaits to cater for guest’s every need and request, from serving gourmet meals, organising an in-house massage, yoga instructor, mountain guide or babysitter to the preparation of your own private drinks party.
Chesetta is run by the owners who grew up locally and have carefully selected all of the chalet staff from the surrounding area to ensure in-depth local knowledge is available on hand to their guests. Chesetta offers a luxurious and discreet alternative to the typical St Moritz holiday and is a truly bespoke Swiss chalet experience.

“One of few chalets to rent in St Moritz, Chesetta occupies a building that originally housed the village blacksmith. With its large country-house kitchen, where hostess Bettina serves up hearty breakfasts, its atmospheric dining room and sitting room warmed by a log fire, Chesetta achieves a true sense of homeliness. However, the gym, steam room, sauna, cinema and services of Daniel, a former butler and valet to the Queen, ensure you won’t forget you’re in St Moritz.”
Listed by Peter Hardy at The Telegraph as one of The Best Alpine Chalets

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.
The chalet provides beer, wines and mixers.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
