This is a chalet like no other and the experience of staying here is unique. This is not for everyone, but for skiers and mountain lovers looking for a magnificent off-piste experience and a chance to experience the mountains outside of the busy resort environment, this is a ‘must-do’.
Nestled into the hillside in the tiny hamlet of Le Mirror, just a few kilometres outside of Ste Foy, Chalet Pelerin is perfectly located to make the most of the legendary Tarentaise skiing and the resorts of Val d’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs as well as Ste Foy. A stay at Chalet Pelerin, or Pilgrim is truly to make a journey to a very special place.
The chalet is beautiful – this is a perfect example of understated luxury. Built in traditional Savoyard style, the chalet boasts unrivalled views, a wonderful spa area including a salt-water pool and magnificent hot tub and large comfortable, welcoming rooms. This is the perfect home from home.
This is not a chalet filled with bling and the latest gadgets, it doesn’t seek to impress and tick boxes because it doesn’t have to. This just is a wonderful place to be and the best place in the world if you want to ski backcountry and relax in stunning scenery.
The chalet also has a fantastic outpost in L’Alpage, its exclusive mountain refuge that is a 30 minute ski shoe walk from the main building. Ski to the refuge at the end of a day or walk up from the chalet early evening for a bonfire, canapés and drinks before heading inside for a fully catered dinner. This is a holiday of wonderful experiences and fantastic memories.
The chalet’s team of staff are on hand to prepare delicious meals, to drive you to wherever you’d like to ski each day and to organise everything from a snowshoe outing, to ski lessons or off-piste guide for heli-skiing in neighbouring Italy. The chalet does offer an inclusive package, which includes return airport transfers and 6 days with a ski guide or instructor (ratio of 1:4) – please ask us for more details.

"Perched above the hamlet of Le Miroir, Chalet Pelerin sleeps eight adults and four children. It has serious bells and whistles - a large outdoor hot tub lit by fire pits, an indoor salt-water pool, sauna and steam room and large TV room. Best of all, however, is the dedicated ski room packed with equipment, suncream, snacks and drinks (all complimentary). Everything is included, from ski guiding to children's cookery classes to fondues and fireworks."
" Now don't get us wrong - we love sticky summer days and prancing around in not much more than a skimpy bikini… but Chalet Pelerine makes us LONG for an ice age. With its roaring fires, shaggy rugs, mammoth team of 'adventure guides' and on-site French chef, you'll have to be dragged out of this Narnia haven."
"This chic five-bedroom lodge offers a fresh take on the classic Savoie region ski chalet. Wool throws woven at a local mill and French sofas and armchairs complement the large stone fireplace and other rustic details. Customize your adventure—heli-skiing, mountain biking, hut-to-hut trekking—with the help of the chalet’s expert guides. An indoor saltwater pool, a Finnish sauna, and a private chef and sommelier are added perks for alpine thrill-seekers who also appreciate extreme pampering."
"Luxurious yet understated, Chalet Pelerin is tucked into the French hamlet of Le Miroir near Sainte Foy, providing the intimacy of an authentic Alpine community and chauffeur-driven access to the neighbouring resorts of Val d’Isère, Tignes and Les Arcs Spend your days enjoying the local off-piste with Pelerin's dedicated guides or grab a helicopter from the back garden to explore further afield. Feast on the finest foie gras at Le Miroir’s legendary Chez Merie restaurant and relax in the Chalet’s indoor salt-water pool, outdoor hot tub, Finnish sauna and steam room."
"At this charming, four-suite chalet in the French Alps, incredible skiing is just right outside the door - whether guests take the lifts at several of the nearby world-class resorts, whether they follow their personal guides onto secret, off-piste terrain, or whether they just wait for the helicopter to pick them up at the front door. While your billionaire is there, he or she will be attended to by an on-site staff, including a French chef who will cook three meals a day (plus snacks for 'après ski'). The chalet also offers a steam room, sauna, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi, and saltwater lap pool."
