The View is the consequence of exclusivity meeting the latest in luxury. This is your private home from home like no other. Design, well-being and service radiate from Morzine’s most recent addition to the chalet market. This is a chalet of bespoke design and one that adds significant competition to this resort’s luxurious alpine portfolio. Reputation of The View is spreading and we look forward to welcoming you for your favourite week of the year.
You know when you have arrived at The View. Everything is extraordinary. This is a chalet that wants you to bring 13 of your closest friends and family and take full advantage of everything that it has to offer. From the light flooded rooms from vast picture windows, to the views of the majestic surrounding mountain peaks and on to outside terrace to soak the sunset away from the magnificient hot tub. The View knows it stands out in the luxury chalet world.
You will wish that this private home were yours. Not just for your favourite week of the year but for all the other 51 weeks. With a dedicated chauffeur service, you can reign high and mighty over Morzine yet still be an enviable six minute drive to your favourite pistes. We know that with such staggering views you want convenience. So much so that your chauffeur will already be waiting on the snow cleared drive before you even realize that you are ready to head out for the day.
You might find yourself coming up with every excuse possible just so that you can return home to The View. I’m afraid that you might need to be a little more imaginative than rubbing ski boots and perhaps a little more subtle than needing to check the hot tub is up to temperature. You can rest assured that the staff will have that all under control. For many, returning back to their chalet at the end of the day comes with that despondent sigh that another exhilarating day on the slopes is over. However, your friends in high places ensure that returning to The View is nothing but filled with joy. This doesn’t signal the end of a day but the start of the next of today’s adventure. Would you like that beer delivered to the hot tub, the cinema room or infront of the fireplace sir?
That fireplace is warming up for the main act tonight but for now it is just a few stairs to return to the vaulted piece de resistance that is your rather indulgent bedroom. There is no need to force yourself out of the state of deep peace and relaxation, as a glass of champagne awaits next to today’s newspaper. You have only been here a day but the staff know you so well already. With a private showing of those staggering orange hued mountain ranges and peace reigning over The View, maybe they wouldn’t notice if you stayed here forever? You know that you really should be getting ready for supper. However, with friends scattered between the other four luxurious ensuite bedrooms, with La Mornaz and Le Pas sleeping four more than comfortably, the outside seating area and the cinema room, I think you have a little longer for indulging in some quality you-time.
By the time you head downstairs, The View has transformed herself. An inky darkness seeps in through the expanse of angled glass in the living room, the lights have been dimmed and candles flicker joyfully in anticipation of what is to come. With a six course taster menu with the finest vintages matched by The View’s wine consultant, these are evenings to remember forever. Swooping down the pistes of the Portes du Soleil feels considerably more than just a few hours ago. With the last sip of pre dinner cocktail and with your senses heightened in anticipation, the inviting dining table beckons. As the cork makes a bid for freedom from your favourite red, it is time for us to bid you bonsoir.
This is what alpine luxury dreams are made of.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful. You can even have breakfast in bed ! On the chef day off, there is a reduced breakfast service.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea or creamy hot chocolate and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is served 6 nights of your stay.
The chalet provides a complimentary bar with beer, selection of house wines & soft drink. Champagne reception one night of your stay (vintage Bollinger).
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
