You want it all. We understand that. We know that for your favourite days only the ultimate in convenience and luxury will suffice. We are feeling rather smug at introducing you to The Penthouse and all that it means for your perfect week in Les Gets.
As stunning as this luxury penthouse apartment is and as much as we want to shout about the incredibly high-spec interior, we are going to start outside. It would be rude to overlook the all singing all dancing location. You asked for convenience and we are proud to be able to offer it in the authentic French village shovel load. It isn’t very often we use the word “stroll” when talking of getting to a ski lift. Normally we wilt with you at the thought of having to do anything other than being chauffeur driven to the pistes and the lifts. However strolling is just what you are about to embrace when the Mont Chery cable car is only 200m from The Penthouse. We all know those mornings where you think you have bundled everything together. The stray gloves are reunited, the right goggle lenses are clicked in, lip balm and sunscreen applied and wallet in your pocket. Only to have struggled into town with all your ski gear and left the all important lift pass in the boot room. However, during your stay at The Penthouse, such things just won’t phase you. Neither will the burning leg muscles after a day on the slopes. With such a location, we would expect nothing else than for you to pop home, change into comfier shoes and then see and be seen at après in the village.
On return to your five ensuite bedroom, open plan living, sun drenched Penthouse, sink into that magnificent sofa by the roaring fire. That is certainly a seat in the house that will be hard to tear yourself away from. However, why worry when we have already requested canapés and champagne to be delivered to you Sir? Alternatively when the clouds clear and the Alpine sunshine beams down, we recommend you have your aperitif on the large south facing balcony, soaking in the rays and the stunning village and mountain views.
The others in your party might well be found on the first floor in The Penthouse’s sauna or indulging in a deep tissue massage in the private spa treatment room. These are the hours that such evenings were made for. With the indulgent bedrooms all located on the entrance level, it enables the upstairs to be one large living space, resplendent in all its vaulted beam glory. This is a chalet made for socializing. Whether you are with your closest friends, the extended family or a corporate group, everyone can find their own space whilst all managing to join in at the same time. Quite a feat. If those emails haven’t quite understood that you’re on holiday, seek solitude in a leather chair in the office or catch up on your favourite movie in the TV snug. All whilst getting tips to take home from your chef in the large designer kitchen. You will certainly have interior design envy perched at the breakfast bar surveying The Penthouse in all her glory.
Not often one to be made speechless, credit due to The Penthouse who certainly surpassed your exacting wants and desires for that ultimate perfect week.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful. Breakfast with a hot option is served on 5 mornings of your stay and on 2 mornings, fresh bread and buttery croissants will be delivered to your chalet for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food. Afternoon tea will be laid out for you to enjoy every day.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event - a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef with an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. You will be served a melt in your mouth dinner that wouldn't look out of place in the best restaurants. A 3 course dinner will be served on 5 evenings.
There is a Champagne reception served on the evening of your choice during your stay and Belstar Prosecco is served throughout the week. The chalet offer a selection of at least 5 house wines which are available throughout your stay. In addition there is a complimentary spirits tray with four selected spirits and there is a signature beer from Alepine.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children (on 5 evenings). You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
