Courchevel 1850 – a resort that brings back such fond memories. It was where you first learnt to ski as a youngster – you can still remember the exhilaration of coming down the green runs into the Croissette on your own for the first time. You’ve skied lots of great resorts since then but Courchevel always has a special place in your heart.
But it got ridiculously expensive and a bit too ‘fur coat’ for you but maybe, just maybe Chalet Montana is the one to tempt you back to your first love. Chocolate box pretty, this is a chalet built in traditional alpine style and it blends perfectly into its setting of snow covered pine trees.
Inside the alpine charm continues with ancient timbers, open fireplace and lots of comfy sofas. Carved wooden hearts, wooden bed frames and even trundle beds – this place could not be more chalet if it tried. But its still got everything you’d expect from a luxury property so whether you prefer to put your feet up by an open fire with a glass of wine or unwind in a bubbling Jacuzzi there’s plenty to choose from at the chalet. Other excellent facilities include a games room and TV snug with home cinema, making it a perfect chalet option for families.
The five en-suite bedrooms provide ample accommodation for up to 12 guests; one of the bedrooms features trundle beds making an ideal family or kids room. The feeling of space continues into the exquisite open plan living and dining area, arranged over split-levels the room is finished with a roaring fireplace, deep sofas and a large dining table.
Its location is pretty perfect too - right by the Bellecote piste, which means that you can be on the slopes in seconds and skiing down memory lane into the Croissette. This is the perfect chalet to tempt you back to 1850 and with prices that you’ll be happy with too.

Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet.
