Chalet Valdivia is located in the exclusive Swedish quarter of Verbier. Nestling amongst the snow dusted pines and in a great spot to afford breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains whilst ensuring you maximum privacy. The Medran lift station is less than a five minute walk away. A pleasant ten minute stroll will find you in the heart of this fabulous ski resort, world renown and for good reason. Chalet Valdivia sleeps eight guests in four sumptuously comfortable bedrooms.
Chalet Valdivia is a beautiful brand new chalet and is set out over three floors. The interior is sophisticated and spacious yet cosy with the large open fire being the focal point of the living space. Gathering around the flickering flames of the log fire is a high point, especially in the evening when the days adventures are done and dusted. A glass of champagne in your hand and a rosy glow on your cheeks will betray your feeling of well being.
You can enter the chalet from the garage onto the top floor. There is a lovely open hall way which leads to two bedrooms. These are large and spacious, both with en suite bathrooms. Both rooms are furnished with TV's and balcony access which have wonderful views. Also located on this floor is the ski room.
The wonderfully bright open-plan living and dining area is situated on the first floor and is the height of alpine chic. The floor to ceiling French windows allow light to flood in. It is from here you can access the large terrace which overlooks the garden below and the hot tub.
The kitchen is closed off from the dining area and also has a staff entrance ensuring maximum privacy. Also on this floor is the beautiful cinema room with Apple TV. The sumptuous sitting area allows maximum relaxation while watching one of the latest films. This feature goes down well with all ages and you’ll be camped out in here quite a bit as it’s a lovely space to inhabit with friends and family.
Moving downstairs the ground floor houses the remaining two bedrooms; one with an en suite bathroom and one with an en suite shower room. Both bedrooms have French windows which open out into the lovely garden where there is a wonderful cedar wood hot tub. The spacious garden provides the perfect place for children to play whilst you relax in the sunshine on the terrace with a glass of champagne.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? Full breakfast is served every morning. So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.
The chalet provides beer, house wines, a drinks tray of 2 bottle of house spirits and mixers. Champagne is served with canapés on 6 nights of your stay.
