Les Lutins is a seriously charming alpine hideaway, bursting with character and a cosy ambience. Perched in a woodland above Medran in the La Tinte area, one of Verbier's most sought after addresses, the chalet's great location offers up stunning mountain views and super convenient access to the main ski lifts.
Les Lutins was conceived by a leading interior designer and built as a tranquil family home away from home. The chalet exudes traditional alpine charm and has been elegantly and luxuriously furnished from top to bottom. Finished to exacting luxury standards, the chalet is one of Verbier's most charming retreats. Set out over 4 highly appealing floors, Les Lutins can sleep ten lucky guests in five character filled bedrooms.
Guests will enter Les Lutins on the first floor via a beautiful stone path. This floor houses two double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms and there is also a cosy second living room that is warmed with wood burning fireplace and a small kitchen. Also located on this floor is the luxurious spa area, complete with a delightful sunken indoor Jacuzzi, sauna and shower. The spa has access to the terrace to the side of the house and adjacent to the entrance hall is a small ski boot room.
The heart of the chalet can be found on the second floor, accessed via stairs and containing the sumptuous main living areas of the chalet. A spacious and very well equipped kitchen opens onto the impressive dining area. This really is a magical space, with the double height living area and gorgeous traditional stone fireplace being the worthy focal point. The living space opens out onto the wrap around balcony which offers up the ideal spot to drink in the mountain vista and occasional spectacular sunset. This is a truly delightful space for relaxation and entertainment.
The top floor of Les Lutins houses the luxurious master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom with beautiful free standing bath and private balcony. A further double bedroom and the ultra cosy children's bunk room are also located on this level, both of which have access to a shower room. The ground floor houses the laundry room and a garage which can store 2 cars. A further parking space is also available outside the chalet.
In summary, Les Lutins is a real charmer. An unpretentious, yet luxurious mountain retreat awash with natural materials and a cosy ambience. This is a truly traditional alpine chalet in every sense of the word and we can't think of anything better than opening Santa's givings with the kids on Christmas Day - all sat around the fireplace. Simple pleasures.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? Full breakfast is served every morning. So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.
The chalet provides beer, house wines, a drinks tray of 3 bottles of house spirits and mixers. Champagne is served with canapés on 6 nights of your stay.
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children.
