Chalet Chouqui is a real gem, but if the word 'gem' conjures up images of petite, take that scale and super-size it. From the moment you see it's sprawling mass on the hillside you'll feel your heart warm, the second you walk through the door you will be smitten. The phrase 'the wow factor' was coined for properties like this.
Space usually comes at a premium, that doesn’t seem to have been much of a consideration at Chouqui. The architects have certainly been generous with the dimensions and you will feel the benefit, you and your some 20 + guest should you feel the need to invite everyone.
Chouqui is a vast chalet on all fronts, the generously sized windows flood the mountain light into the interiors in the daytime. At night, with the curtains drawn, the candles and the log fire flickering along with the dimmed lighting, the living spaces become a different entity, cosseting and welcoming and thoroughly enjoyable spaces to inhabit. This is luxury and it’s your home for the duration.
The facilities you will enjoy are second to none. The superb 15m indoor swimming pool will be a hit with all ages as will the dedicated cinema room, with its reclining leather chairs. The games room will provide hours of fun with Ping Pong and table football competitions. Non skiers will have plenty to do here and we think even keen skiers will find it hard to drag themselves away from the confines of this delightful property. The kids will be out of your hair here, but be careful not to lose them.
Chouqui is the chalet that keeps on surprising. The outdoor hot tub is superbly located to take advantage of the stunning mountain scenery. This is no ordinary plastic hot tub, this is a tiled affair and large too. At night, with the stars for a canopy, the soothing waters and the odd glass of champers, your fatigue from the exertion of a fabulous day on the slopes will melt away. And you can indulge while your evening meal is being prepared by the talented chef at your disposal. Bliss.
In the day time, if you decide to stay home, you can soak up the rays on the extensive south facing terrace while you read a book or just gaze at the splendour of the mountain landscape. Or maybe you might like to go for a cleansing steam treatment in the beautiful and spacious hammam.
On top of the fabulous feel you’re going to get from the beautifully appointed accommodation, you’re going to be spoiled rotten by a staff of nine dedicated professionals whose task it is to ensure your complete and utter comfort and satisfaction. The pampering includes a 24 hour private chauffeur service, ready at the drop of a ski hat to whisk you hither and thither.

Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
