26 reasons you'll never want to leave

The finest luxury ski chalet in Morzine, in our humble opinion. Chalet Twenty26 is an utterly chic and stylish ski pad for those looking for a chalet that exudes class and style. Situated in a beautifully secluded spot, just moments away from the centre of Morzine and with the nearest lift just 500 meters away, access to all that the Portes du Soleil ski region has to offer is super quick and easy.

This state-of-the-art ski chalet incorporates a boutique designer interior with a relaxing contemporary atmosphere. The Chalet's staff members deliver consistent high-quality cuisine and an exceptional all-round service including a dedicated in-resort driver service.

Inside this sumptuous chalet there is an open plan living and dining room with a feature wood burner and an extensive wrap around balcony that drinks in the surrounding mountain vistas. There is a separate kitchen also on this level where the talented chef prepares delicious evening meals on six nights each week and hearty breakfasts to set you up for a long day on the slopes.

Guests will have the opportunity to liaise directly with the chef prior to arrival to discuss the menus and the produce. There are some well selected house wines to suit all tastes and an exceptional wine list from the chalet's well stocked wine cellar.

Chalet Twenty26 features endless luxury touches, set in five thousand square metres of private grounds, there is a spa terrace with hot-tub and beautiful barrel sauna. Inside the chalet there is a cinema and games room with high definition projector screen, surround sound and comfortable cosy seating. This forms an ideal second living space for those traveling with children or just a great spot for all the family to relax with a movie and play games, this room leads to an outdoor terrace with seating area.

FROM THE PRESS

Voted one of ‘Top 10 Chalet Hot Tubs” by Escapism Magazine

"Chalet, Twenty26, had more of a boutique-hotel feel. It is slightly out of town but we had a driver to take us into town, or to the nearest lift, and what we lost from being a little further from the slopes we gained in good service and jaw-dropping views. There was a hot tub and a sauna outside – and pre-dinner cocktails – to help battered bodies forget their bruises. Chef Al’s cooking was inspired: salmon ceviche, a brilliant duck breast with rillettes and potato dauphinoise. The afternoon cakes and tea, home cinema and fire that welcomed us back from the slopes raised the chalet above the norm.

Owners Chris and Sarah were great hosts and very knowledgeable. They’d given up their jobs in London to follow their dream and said they had looked at several resorts before deciding on Morzine. They’d liked its relaxed atmosphere, and the fact it was a proper town that didn’t cease to exist when the slopes shut in April. And who can blame them?"

The Guardian - November 2016

“Twenty26 can be likened to a carefully packed Christmas stocking, giving the receiver ever more exciting surprises, the further down they go. There's a contemporary feel throughout the chalet, with some high-design furniture pieces including a Matthew Hilton table, Le Corbusier chair, and Claire Norcross lighting. But there’s also a sensitive nod to this old farmhouse's history with the preserving, and exposing, of some original stone walls in the basement spa area”

The Telegraph - November 2017

WHAT WE THINK

This is a lovely chalet with a warm, welcoming feel. It has great spa facilities including a beautiful cedar-barrel sauna in the grounds. It is well furnished with comfortable seating, a lovely home-cinema room and it’s in a great location just 500m from the nearest lift. All of these things tick the right boxes but what you’ll remember is the feeling of personal care and great service that you’ll experience when you stay here – that is priceless.

Gastronome

Do you love food? I don't know many people that don't - there is something wonderfully comforting and indulgent about having somebody else take control of the kitchen. Offering the best of both world's, breakfast and afternoon tea is prepared for you and you're free to take advantage of the wonderful local restaurants in the evening.

A perfect start to the day

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare hot dishes and continental options from the chalet's signature Breakfast Club menu - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful. Breakfast is served on 6 mornings of your stay.

High tea temptations

Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. In addition a savoury platter is also included for those with less of a sweet tooth. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.

Celebrate with Canapés

When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.

Serving up a sensuous feast

Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth four course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. Dinner is accompanied by carefully paired wines. During the week you will be served three gourmet dinners, two relaxed dining evenings and on one evening enjoy "Kaiseki" which is an exquisite 6 course Japanese inspired feast.

Let the good times flow

The chalet provides an open bar of artisan beers, house wines, premium spirits including gin, vodka and single malts and mixers. They offer a 'Gin bar' with speciality tonics and a  'signature cocktail' is served each evening and Belstar Prosecco and the house Champagne is served throughout the week. There is a Ruinart Champagne reception served on the evening of your choice during your stay. The chalet offer a selection of at least 8 house wines which are available throughout your stay.

Children & dietary requirements

The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
