Chalet Pont du Cam was completely redesigned and renovated in readiness for the 2014/15 ski season. And what a face lift too. It’s now fully up to date and offers you all the facilities that you would expect of high end accommodation.
You’re only a 2 minute chauffeured drive from the Doron piste. Once on the piste you can access the whole of the Trois Vallees, a huge ski domain, with much variety to suit every level of ability. The heart of Meribel is a 5 minute drive away but there are local bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all a great location for you and your’s to get the best out of this beautiful ski resort.
If contemporary styling is your bag, you’ll love the Pont Du Cam, this is no rustic traditional farmhouse styled ski chalet. The accommodation offers you a modern and contemporary haven, with luxury furnishings and the finest attention to detail. Spread over a generous 450m2, the chalet is spacious and sleeps 14 in seven en suite bedrooms.
So, lets take a look at those facilities, starting with the cinema room, or rather media suite. There’s luxury seating for nine of your party, some seats recline for extra comfort. In here you’ll find all the UK TV channels and a large selection of DVD’s from the media library, it’s a great space for you and your family or friends to settle down together and watch a film of your choice, all cosy and snug, while the snow outside refreshes the pistes. Popcorn? that’s on hand too, you only have to ask. The cinema room is Xbox and PS4 friendly, with a selection of games, of course the children can pack their own. It’s an ideal den for the kids to have time away on their own, while you enjoy your space in the living area.
After a great day on the mountain you can wallow in the outdoor hot tub. Seating eight, and located on the large terrace, it’s a real escape. Beautifully lit in the evenings, this is a wonderful place to zone out with a glass of champers. You’ll feel the fatigue seeping away and a feeling of well being will soon take over. The hammam is also another experience to chill you out. Seating six and providing a light show complete with music, it’s an option if the hot tub is not really your thing. Your chalet manager will organise a visiting therapist who can provide a calming massage or a beauty treatment of your choice. The massage room is a relaxing and calm space to fully indulge your choice of treatment.
If you’re feeling altogether more energetic, then head for the gym. Work up a sweat on the treadmill, the rowing machine, the exercise bike or maybe the power plate. Along with free weights a Swedish ball and a exercise mat, the gym has all you could possibly need for a serious work out.
Throw in a heated boot warmer and a first class staff, who are there to ensure your comfort and satisfaction and you and your party will be in the perfect place to make the most of your time in the mountains.

No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare hot dishes and continental options from the chalet's signature Breakfast Club menu - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful. Breakfast is served every morning of your stay with a slightly reduced menu on the chef day off.
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. In addition a savoury platter is also included for those with less of a sweet tooth. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures that may get a little exaggerated for dramatic effect with each rendition. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen.
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. During the week you will be served three gourmet dinners, one dinner from our International Taste menu and on one evening enjoy "Kaiseki" which is an exquisite 6 course Japanese inspired feast.
