Maison Blanche & Verte is a luxury six-bedroom chalet in the picturesque village of Châtel, part of the extensive Portes du Soleil ski domain. Conveniently located just ninty minutes drive from Geneva airport, the chalet is equally suitable for a family ski holiday or a corporate weekend away. With the impressive services and facilities on offer, Maison Blanche & Verte is arguably the most luxurious chalet in the valley.
Maison Blanche & Verte has been designed to meet the needs of skiers and non-skiers alike. With its indoor swimming pool, sauna, massage room, cinema room and gym, the chalet has everything you could want for a satisfying luxury ski holiday. A fine wine cellar compliments the exceptional food and the top notch service that is on offer throughout your stay.
The main open-plan living room affords breathtaking views of the village and valley below, the perfect entertaining space. Young children will delight in the separate mezzanine area set aside for them to play in, without being too far away. Additionally there is the cinema, which even has popcorn holders in the seats!
The chalet has been carefully laid out with the bedrooms in one area and the living spaces in a separate wing, thus allowing the night owls and early birds to co-exist without disturbing each other. Perfect when traveling with children. Each of the six comfortably appointed en suite bedrooms have been expertly designed and can be configured as twin or super King-sized beds. All bedrooms are wired for sound and vision.
No detail has been overlooked at Maison Blanche & Verte. This beautiful home offers the perfect mix of contemporary design, superb facilities and exceptional service.
“Maison Blanche et Verte is remarkable not only for its cuisine and is probably the most luxurious chalet in the valley. It comprises an impressive 600 square metres and was designed by Jimmy MacDonald.”
“Maison Blanche & Verte – white for snow, green for grass – is top of an exclusive wish list. It is the first elite chalet in Châtel, a resort with rapid access to the Portes du Soleil, the 650km (400 miles) trans-border circuit that includes Avoriaz, Morzine and Champéry. Located on a hill in Petit-Châtel, it has sweeping views of the traditional Savoyard village and the mountains beyond.”

A perfect start to the day
No need to rush out of bed - breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee - yoghurts, crispy cereals, juicy fruit and a mouth-watering display of delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you - how do you like your eggs? So much choice that you might miss the first ski lift if you're not careful.
High tea temptations
Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you. Personally I don’t think you can beat a slice of crispy baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of apricot jam or nutella - but maybe that ‘s just me - the perfect comfort food.
Celebrate with Canapés
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn't it, you're on an amazing holiday and it's so good to be alive. Enjoy the delicious canapés and amuse-bouche freshly prepared by your star in the kitchen accompanied by a delicious ‘aperitif of the day’.
Serving up a sensuous feast
Take a seat at your own private table - it's time for the main event – a delicious feast, masterfully crafted by your talented chef. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a melt in your mouth three course dinner that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a tangy platter of divine local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights. The chalet usually serves four 'gourmet' dinners of 4 courses and on two nights serves a simpler 2 course 'family dinners'. Dinner is accompanied by a selection of hand-picked wines and is served on six nights of your stay. Coffee and chocolates are served each evening.
Let the good times flow
The chalet provides an open bar of beer, high quality house wines, premium gin, vodka and local ‘eau de vie’ as well as soft drinks and mixers. There is a champagne reception on your first evening and Crement de Limoux served throughout the week
Children & dietary requirements
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and will serve an earlier high tea for children. You can talk to your SkiBoutique PA about any specific requests from dietary requirements such as gluten free diets to birthday cakes and favourite dishes. We will do our very best to ensure that your wishes are granted and delivered in resort.
