Nestled into the hillside in the tiny hamlet of Le Mirror, just a few kilometres outside of Ste Foy, Chalet Hibou is perfectly located to make the most of the legendary Tarentaise skiing and the resorts of Val d’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs as well as Ste Foy. A stay at Chalet Hibou, which means 'owl' is truly a wise decision.

The chalet is beautiful – this is a perfect example of understated luxury. Built in traditional Savoyard style, the chalet boasts unrivalled views, a wonderful spa area including a lovely outdoor hot tub, Finnish sauna and steam room. There are seven large comfortable bedrooms - this is the perfect home from home.

This is not a chalet filled with bling and the latest gadgets, it doesn’t seek to impress and tick boxes because it doesn’t have to. This just is a wonderful place to be and the best place in the world if you want to ski backcountry and relax in stunning scenery.

The chalet also has a fantastic outpost in L’Alpage, its exclusive mountain refuge that is a 30 minute ski shoe walk from the main building. Ski to the refuge at the end of a day or walk up from the chalet early evening for a bonfire, canapés and drinks before heading inside for a fully catered dinner. This is a holiday of wonderful experiences and fantastic memories.

The chalet’s team of staff are on hand to prepare delicious meals, to drive you to wherever you’d like to ski each day and to organise everything from a snowshoe outing, to ski lessons or off-piste guide for heli-skiing in neighbouring Italy.
