The Perfect Escape

If you’re looking for a magical getaway with the family to escape the everyday, enjoy a truly spectacular getaway at Chalet Aubois. Situated at the beginning of the Vallee de la Manche, it boasts the most spectacular views of the Pleney and Nyon pistes and is nestled into the hillside overlooking the Morzine valley. The chalet sleeps 10 as standard but can comfortably accommodate 12, so there’s plenty of room for the whole family to join the party! 

As soon as you enter the chalet, you’ll immediately want to abandon your bags and explore, probably giving your littler guests a run for their money! As far as picture perfect views go, this one is hard to beat. Chalet Aubois is split over three levels, the architects have included everything you would expect to make this a real home from home. A perfect, self-catered property completed with luxury finishes but maintaining a homely aesthetic and rustic look to keep everyone cosy and comfortable after a long day on the slopes! Chalet Aubois features a home cinema, outdoor entertaining deck, hot tub and super-squashy designed soft furnishings to sink into. But it’s practical, too.

At the entrance level there’s a large parking area for four cars, a secure garage, boot room with heated boot and glove racks and a large laundry room with separate washing and drying machines. There’s also an iPad and a GoPro for communal use to make your stay even more special. So whether it’s a cosy night in or an evening of prepping for the following day that’s in store, it’s the perfect family escape.

Alongside the grown-up practicalities, the first level is also home to the cinema room, with a library of DVDs and console games. So it’s the perfect place to cosy up after a day on the mountain, or a safe haven for children to entertain themselves in the evenings.

Heading up the stairs to the second floor, you’ll be greeted by a large, open plan living and dining area which is framed by the spectacular views of the valley through stunning wrap around windows and French doors. Not one, but two sitting areas provide plenty of room for everyone to relax or socialise together by the log fire. With a SONOS sound system, you can create your perfect ambience. There’s also a large TV to catch up on your favourite shows or childhood films! If you get hungry midway through, the kitchen is perfectly equipped with a large pantry, wine fridges and two ovens so whatever you’re craving, it won’t be a problem.

Also on the second floor is a bedroom with a large en suite shower room. It can be configured as either a double or twin room to keep your arrangements flexible. Venturing outside from the living room, there’s a large, beautifully landscaped deck and garden which means that entertaining can spill outside, taking full advantage of the glorious, sunny position of the chalet. If it’s a lovely day, the whole family can take advantage of the BBQ, outdoor dining table, sun loungers and large hot tub. All of which come together to make the perfect viewing spot for the weekly fireworks. It’s a taste of real luxury, to enjoy the Alpine fresh air from the comfort of your own, secluded garden.

Head upstairs again to the very top level of the chalet, you’ll find four further bedrooms. You’ll have to pick straws for the master suite, as it boasts stunning views of the ski slopes and Morzine village from the bed. Alternatively, step through the French doors and onto the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee with a view to remember.

Two further bedrooms, which also look out over the beautiful valley, share a very large bathroom. Both bedrooms have access to balconies and have plenty of storage space, no matter how many bags you’ve brought with you! The third en suite bedroom has views of the garden and deck area below, so whether you prefer socialisation or seclusion, there’s a spot for you! You can be super flexible throughout, because there’s even an extra double sofa bed in the home cinema if you need it as well as all of the bedrooms being ready to reconfigure as doubles or twins depending on what you need.
