Modern, glamorous and young (at heart) couple, seeks stylish ski pad as kindred spirit, for wining and dining, skiing, and laughs with friends! #GSOH #FTA #Après #HotTubEssential! Your perfect match: Lodge Christoph, St Anton.
You’ve invested serious time looking for ‘the one’ but you’re criteria is pretty strict and most don’t even make the shortlist. Stumbling upon Lodge Christoph then was as though waking from a dream. Elegant cream sofas, a modern white-stone clad log burner the focal point of the spacious lounge. Polished wood floors complement the aged wooden beams and expansive double height ceiling. This will do very nicely.
Importantly the service is every bit as slick as the interior of Lodge Christoph, and you are welcomed warmly with a glass of Champagne – which is chilled, naturally. While you surrender to the sofas and the roaring log fire your luggage is efficiently deposited in to the four en-suite bedroom suites; no need to lift a finger here, you’re on holiday so let the professional team at Christoph take care of all the little details.
The cool Alpine chic décor continues in the bedrooms, which are beautifully appointed and boast wonderful views over the Arlberg. For quiet moments away from the group there are comfortable armchairs in each bedroom, and a TV/DVD player to save arguments in the sitting room. For some proper pampering head to the top floor and take a soak in the outdoor hot tub on the rooftop, commanding incredible views you will feel literally on top of the world. Just inside you find the unique Sanarium; a combined sauna and steam room, and private massage room, that will ensure our relaxation is total.
The professional kitchen is the domain of your talented private chef, and is shared with the neighbouring lodge, but you will have chef’s attention whenever you desire as he cooks up delicious meals to accompany the fine wines your host is freely pouring. All your dietary requirements are catered for here with a flourish as the chef gets creative and plates are dressed to impress.
After appetite whetting canapés before the fire evenings will be spent in the elegant and classically styled dining room. Conversation is flowing and laughter raucous. Memories of good times gone by are shared along with more recent gossip and tales of the thrills and spills of the day on the mountain. Quality time spent with friends, reliving happy memories whilst being wined and dined – what could be better? St Anton is famed for the lively après with live bands and beer flowing, and after dinner you discover this extends late into the evening, well past your bedtime. This is what holidays are for.
Though Christoph is an apartment within a larger complex it is spacious and light filled, spread over three floors it feels every inch a luxurious and character-full ski pad. You even benefit from a ski room with boot warmers which gets your ski boots toasty warm ready for each morning’s new assault on the fantastic skiing of the Arlberg. Your chauffeur ensures you have no distance to walk in said boots, and whisks you to the lifts in 3 minutes; should you head up the Galzigbahn, or the Rendllbahn? Ask your driver for a little tip or two from the locals.
The best tip might well have been his favourite après bar – Underground on the Piste; very eccentric and the scene for many a memorable holiday event. By the end of the week you may well be feeling in need of a break from the St Anton party scene, so snuggle up on the sofa in front of the TV with a good movie and a big bucket of popcorn. By the end of the week you are well settled into the holiday routine; eat, ski, eat, drink, ski, drink, spa, eat, sleep repeat! You’ll be sorry to say farewell, but you’re already planning next year’s big ski adventure.

Come back after a wonderful day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of a crackling fire, with a steaming cup of tea and a generous serving of cake – this is how all afternoons should be. Your chef will prepare a fresh from the oven, sweet treat for your return, so whether your preference is for a hearty sticky Apple and Ginger cake or a delicate Mille-feuille aux framboise is more your thing, there will be something tempting waiting for you.
